Dubai’s Museum of the Future is hiring ‘Future Perfects’ for full-time roles, prioritising creativity and people skills over qualifications. Applications close November 8

DUBAI: Dubai’s Museum of the Future has introduced the world’s first ‘Future Perfects’ job roles, inviting applications from people with creativity, curiosity and strong communication skills.

The recruitment drive aims to select individuals who can transform how visitors experience the museum when it reopens in 2027.

Unlike traditional hiring, the museum will prioritise emotional intelligence, imagination, adaptability and interpersonal skills over academic qualifications or previous experience.

What will Future Perfects do?

Selected candidates will work as guides, storytellers and conversation partners. They will welcome visitors, explain complex ideas and create engaging discussions about science, technology, nature and society.

The museum does not require previous experience in museums or customer service.

Successful candidates will join the Visitor Experience team in full-time positions starting November 2026.

How to apply?

Applications remain open until November 8, 2026.

Interested candidates can apply through the official Future Perfects recruitment portal.

The selection process includes online applications, live assessments and final auditions before an expert judging panel.

Candidates will demonstrate their communication abilities, quick thinking and adaptability through practical assessments.

Why is Dubai introducing these roles?

Azza AlNuaimi, Chief Operating Officer of the Museum of the Future, said human curiosity, imagination and connection remain essential as technology advances.

She explained that traditional qualifications cannot always measure these qualities.

The initiative reflects Dubai’s approach to identifying talent beyond conventional career paths.

Since opening in 2022, the Museum of the Future has welcomed more than five million visitors representing over 180 nationalities.

The new recruitment campaign aims to make future-focused discussions more personal, accessible and engaging for visitors from different backgrounds.

Impact to expect

The initiative could create new career opportunities for candidates without conventional qualifications while encouraging employers to recognise creativity and human skills
