ROX has delivered its first 100 vehicles carrying the “Made in the Emirates” mark after production at its AI Manufacturing Centre in KEZAD, a notable step in the UAE’s push to build a domestic advanced automotive manufacturing sector

Automotive manufacturer ROX has delivered its first batch of 100 UAE-manufactured vehicles from its advanced production facility in Abu Dhabi. The luxury SUVs carry the official “Made in the Emirates” mark under the company’s UAE Signature Edition.

Announced on October 30, the milestone supports the UAE’s efforts to expand domestic automotive manufacturing and attract investment into high-value industries. The vehicles were produced at ROX’s AI Manufacturing Centre in Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD).

Abu Dhabi Factory Combines AI and Manufacturing

ROX developed its Abu Dhabi facility in just six months, bringing together a Manufacturing Centre, AI Lab and Design Studio. The facility combines vehicle production with artificial intelligence and design capabilities. It also supports plans to strengthen local supply chains and serve regional automotive markets.

The project results from collaboration between the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT), Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and ROX. Each vehicle in the UAE Signature Edition carries a numbered production identity and is designed to meet regional market requirements.

Supporting UAE’s Industrial Ambitions

The initiative aligns with the UAE’s Make it in the Emirates programme and Operation 300bn, which aims to expand the industrial sector’s contribution to the national economy. ROX Founder and CEO Jarvis said the company plans to expand manufacturing operations and strengthen its UAE production capabilities. The company also aims to establish Abu Dhabi as a regional vehicle manufacturing hub.

Impact to Expect

The delivery marks another step towards building a competitive automotive manufacturing industry in the UAE. Continued production could attract additional investment, develop technical expertise and create opportunities across manufacturing, design and automotive supply chains. The project also strengthens Abu Dhabi’s position as a regional centre for advanced industrial technology.
