Air Arabia Kozhikode flights return daily

Air Arabia Kozhikode flights will resume daily from Ras Al Khaimah on October 16, restoring a direct UAE-Kerala connection.

RAS AL KHAIMAH: Air Arabia Kozhikode flights are returning to Ras Al Khaimah International Airport from October 16, 2026, giving travellers a daily nonstop connection to the coastal Kerala city. Air Arabia announced the resumed service on October 6, 2026, saying it will strengthen direct connectivity between the UAE and India.

When will the daily flights restart?

The low-cost carrier confirmed that the Ras Al Khaimah to Kozhikode route will operate every day from October 16.

The restored service reconnects Ras Al Khaimah with one of Kerala’s important aviation gateways, offering another direct option for residents travelling between the northern emirate and southern India.

Passengers can already book the service through Air Arabia’s website, call centre or authorised travel agencies.

Why the Kerala route is returning

Air Arabia Group Chief Executive Officer Adel Al Ali said the carrier was pleased to resume the direct connection and described it as a convenient daily service between the two cities.

“The resumption of this route reflects our commitment to offering reliable and value-driven travel options that connect communities and support growing travel demand between the two destinations,” Al Ali said.

The Air Arabia Kozhikode service is particularly relevant for Kerala’s large expatriate community in the UAE, as well as leisure and family travellers seeking a direct journey without connecting through another airport.

Ras Al Khaimah network continues to grow

The resumed Kerala route forms part of Air Arabia’s expanding operation from Ras Al Khaimah.

The airline already operates nonstop services from the emirate to destinations including Cairo, Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar. The return of Kozhikode adds another South Asian destination to that network.

For Ras Al Khaimah, additional international routes can also support its wider ambitions to improve connectivity for residents, visitors and businesses.

What passengers should know

Travellers planning journeys after October 16 should check Air Arabia’s booking channels for current departure times, fares and baggage options before confirming plans.

Air Arabia Kozhikode flights will operate nonstop, removing the need for passengers on this route to make a connection elsewhere in the UAE or India.

Impact to expect

The daily service should make family visits and business travel between Ras Al Khaimah and Kerala easier while adding more seat capacity between the UAE and India. It could also strengthen Ras Al Khaimah’s role as a convenient departure point for residents in the northern Emirates.
